Bridport was originally developed as a port for the early timber,
agricultural and mining industries. Today the village and wharf
retain their original seaport atmosphere - fishing boats abound.
The Matthew Flinders ferry, one of the local attractions,
regularly sails from Bridport to Flinders Island and Melbourne.

accommodation centre is a self contained holiday park and is an
ideal base from which to discover, not only, the many attractions,
of Bridport village but, also the charms of North Eastern Tasmania.

The Bayview Centre - affordable group accommodation is ideal for
social groups, school excursions and camps, clubs, family
reunions, families and friends. Wedding receptions can be catered
for.
Accommodation consists primarily of cabins sleeping three to
six people. Linen and blankets are not included in the tariff.
You will need to bring your own provisions, as the Centre is
self-catering, although excellent local caters can be arranged
(should you be planning a wedding reception) or you may wish to
dine out at one of the local hotels or restaurants. Shower and
toilet facilities are communal.
The Centre's recently renovated Function Hall contains a fully
self contained commercial kitchen, large dining area with open
fire place, bar and an extensive entertainment area, which extends
out onto a deck offering guests magnificent views of Anderson Bay.
Horses can be accommodated - additional fees apply. There is
ample parking space should some members of your group wish to
bring tents, caravans or boats, horse floats or jet skis.
